Belief Skateshop, located in Astoria Queens, is one of New York’s best full service skateboard shops and clothing boutiques. Carrying everything from 5 Boro to Girl and Chocolate to premier streetwear brands like 10 Deep, ALife and The Hundreds. Belief has made a name for itself in the 5 boroughs as the go-to shop for exclusive kicks, clothing and all things skateboarding. Belief was started by twin brothers, Raffie and Phil Gordon along with their life-long friend, James Collins. With backgrounds in skateboard culture the trio was amazed by the lack of a core skateshop in Queens. In early 2010, they merged their love for skateboarding and streetwear to create Belief, Astoria’s home-base for local skateboarders. In the short time since opening, Belief has gone on to create their own line of apparel and accessories, held numerous skate events and contests, launched a full skate team, started offering skate lessons, hosted a handful of Grind Time Hip Hop events, gained an abundance of notable press, and is currently working on a hip-hop mix-tape.
